Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join their Employment and Corporate / Commercial / Banking Team.

This role would be perfect for someone who is currently working as a Secretary, Junior Paralegal, PA or any similar position.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Support with reformatting documents, numbering and inserting docs.
  • Willing to adapt to new ways of working.
  • Diary management for the team.
  • Managing expenses for the team.
  • Assist with billing clients including the preparation of WIP summaries and billing schedules.
  • Assisting with file opening and closing and file administration.
  • Preparing hard copy and e-bundles for employment tribunals and distribution of the same.
  • Liaising with clients and Counsel Clerks re case management and billing.
  • Preparing hard copy documents for CCB.
  • Some typing (letters and attendance notes).
  • General PA duties.

Requirements:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Be results focused and driven to deliver.
  • A good eye for detail.
  • Good organisation and time management abilities.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Motivated with a strong commitment to learning.
  • Prior experience within a law firm would be advantageous.
