The HireWorks are currently working with a transport company based in Cambridge who are recruiting for an Assistant Engineering Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

The role would be working on a range of shifts across Monday to Friday with weekends being worked on a rota basis.

Typical duties would include:

  • Manage and supervise the engineering team daily.
  • Support and advise the team on vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure vehicles meet high standards for customer presentation.
  • Maintain team health and safety.

The successful candidate:

  • Supervisory/management experience in vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong technical vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
