Are you a skilled Project Manager with a strong background in highways and structures? Our client, a leading Highways Contractor, is seeking an experienced professional to oversee key infrastructure projects in the eastern region of the UK.
As the Freelance Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects involving highways structures, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, contributing to the development and maintenance of the region's critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
路Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of highways structures projects.
路Manage project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
路Oversee budgets, resources, and schedules to meet project objectives.
路Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
路Liaise with clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication throughout.
路Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues effectively as they arise.
路Produce accurate progress reports and documentation.
Requirements
路Proven experience in Project Management within the highways and structures sector.
路Strong knowledge of highways structures, including bridges and retaining walls.
路Excellent leadership and communication skills.
路Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
路Familiarity with relevant industry standards, contracts, and best practices.
路Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the eastern region.
路A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Project Management is desirable.
