Project Manager Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading main contractor specialising in Commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects across London and the Home Counties. The role offers a large scope of works and excellent career progression opportunities, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Project Management across commercial builds who is comfortable in client facing roles and leading multiple teams to success.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Organise site setup and manage logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Ensure that all health and safety policies are fully implemented on-site and adhered to by colleagues and subcontractors
  • Create and maintain a clear line of communication throughout entire supply chain ensuring operations run smoothly while minimising disruption
  • Act as key point of contact for clients while working closely with design teams to plan, design and oversee every phase of the project
  • Actively oversee project timeline while providing monthly updates to clients and department heads and quickly identifying issues and producing proactive solutions
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure that timelines and quality targets are consistently met
  • Take responsibility for maintaining high-quality standards on-site, ensuring company policy and client expectations are met

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Have a construction-related degree or equivalent
  • Have previous experience delivering complex projects to completion
  • In-depth knowledge of full life cycle construction process for office and commercial fit outs and refurbishments
  • Prior experience in client facing roles
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders,i interdepartmental teams, subcontractors and peers with ease and effectiveness
  • ability to identify and mitigate risk
  • Trade background is desirable
