Reed Cambridge Business Support is working with a business in Sawston. They are seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Administrator to join their team. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing the logistical requirements of test paperwork and products for market research projects. You will ensure that all processes meet the company's quality control standards and support continuous product testing programmes.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and distribute all paperwork and product requirements for testing, including recording, chasing, and monitoring of all completed research surveys.
- Schedule and administer continuous product testing programmes as business demands require.
- Oversee the Packing area, ensuring all fridges and freezers are in good working order and monitored regularly.
- Plan for necessary resources such as Dry Ice/Chilled Ice packs/Boxes/Parcel Tape etc.
- Manage the de-branding of products required for testing as agreed in project spec meetings.
- Organise the disposal of surplus samples post-project in accordance with quality procedures.
- Ensure products arrive as expected, within required best-before dates, and in sufficient quantities.
- Maintain appropriate hygiene standards at all times, handling food products within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Confidence in making decisions independently when appropriate.
- Precision and a methodical approach to all tasks with great attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks according to business needs and work autonomously.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and effective in keeping others informed of potential issues.
- Organised and diligent, capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously to a high standard.
