1:1 Teaching Assistant

Academics are working with a primary school in Canterbury, who are looking for an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is determined to make a difference. The primary school are looking for a confident and knowledgeable individual that has experience of supporting children with a range of abilities.
The role will involve supporting a child in Year 1 on a 1:1 basis. You will need to have a patient and caring approach and the dedication to building a positive relationship with the child, gaining a strong knowledge of their interests, strengths and where more support is needed.

Successful candidates will:
- Be Level 2 or 3 qualified or perhaps you are completing your PGCE or Education Degree with a view to becoming a teacher.
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Be friendly and approachable
- Fantastic communication and organisation skills
