Description
As the Finance Business Partner for the manufacturing side of the business you will be required to work closely with the CFO and FC, as well as the Operations Directors in order to provide key commercial insight. This is not just to report on performance, but also to develop strategies to allow the business to meet its demand on a just in time basis, ensuring quality, and maximising profit.
You will be involved in
- Product budgeting
- Determining manufacturing timescales
- Reviewing the product life cycle from start to finish, looking to minimise costs and maximise profit
- Modelling the impact of changes to the production process on timescales, cost and profit
- Reviewing procurement costs
- Reporting back on performance, the impact of process changes, and future proposals
Profile
The ideal candidate for this East Kent based manufacturing focused Finance Business Partner will be:
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
- Experienced in finance business partnering within a manufacturing / production environment
- Be happy to spend 90% of time on site
- Be able to engage directly with people throughout the product life cycle to maximise profit without compromising quality.
