Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor looking to manage your own caseload? Join our team to provide high levels of client care and quality service, helping to build both our team’s and firm’s profile.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Draft and prepare claims, employment contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documentation.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on a variety of employment matters including workplace disputes, rights, and obligations.
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes in disputes and settlements.
  • Represent clients in court and tribunal hearings, advocating for both employers and employees.
  • Conduct legal research into past cases and documents to support your advice and representation.
  • Stay updated with new developments in employment legislation to provide the most current advice.
  • Participate in business development activities, supported by the team and marketing department, in line with our business development strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a current practising certificate.
  • Proven experience in handling a comprehensive range of employment law cases.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills to effectively represent clients.
  • Excellent research and organisational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills to explain legal matters clearly and concisely to clients.
  • A sensible, methodical approach to handling cases, good judgement, and the ability to make difficult decisions.
  • Adaptability and proactivity in a dynamic legal environment.
