QA Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced QA Compliance Manager to join a specialist company that is investing in the expansion of their quality department. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to excel your career within a global business that specialises in the manufacture and distribution of perfumes and personal care products.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the QA compliance team, ensuring adherence to UK and European safety and quality legislations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain product technical files to comply with CE & UKCA marking directives.
  • Supervise and support the quality control function and the QC team.
  • Ensure the QC team is briefed daily on product quality, customer visits, rejections, performance, and operational issues.
  • Manage and uphold the accreditation the company holds.
  • Establish training and development requirements for QC within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure the company is complying with required standards.
  • Continuously communicate and liaise with Line Leaders and Management as required in day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct internal audits, including product traceability, against internal audit schedule and ensure corrective action is completed within a suitable timeframe.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience within the personal care or food industry in a QC/compliance role.
  • Solid people management and coaching experience.
  • Good knowledge of the UKCA & CE marking directives and other relevant worldwide product legislation.
  • Experience working with relevant quality standards including BRCGS and ISO 22716.
  • A strong track record with regulatory and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.
  • Proficiency in English.
