Description
- Lead the finance team in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Oversee the production of annual budgets and forecasts
- Deliver financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision making
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in the finance team
- Act as a mentor to junior team members, fostering a supportive work environment
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- On their way to achieving professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- The ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial colleagues
