Designate General Manager -Casinos

Cardiff to 55K basic + £5600 car + 10-20K bonus

We are looking for a Designate General Manager in Cardiff to join one of the largest and most successful gaming groups within the UK. As a Designate General Manager, you will be thoroughly trained and inducted into their Casino business, typically over a period of 3 months before being placed as a General Manager within one of their Casinos within Cardiff or their South West region. We are very keen to hear from candidates who have a proven track record as a leader within the broad leisure/hospitality/food retail sectors and who would enjoy working within the fast paced and dynamic environment of a 24hr gaming and entertainment business. Responsibilities include:

  • Create amazing experiences for the customers on every visit, establishing the venue as the destination of choice.
  • Build and promote an inclusive, trusting, and high-performance culture with clear and consistent communication.
  • Coach, mentor and inspire your team with development plans to maximise their potential.
  • Proactively review and action customer insights and engagement.
  • Implement a proactive sales strategy working closely with Central functions.
  • Create innovative experiences and events across all customer segments
  • Drive the financial performance across all elements of gaming and food and beverage.
  • Fully accountable for health and safety and operational compliance and industry best practice.
  • Ensure that the casino culture instils responsible gambling at its heart.

You will be brought into the business as a designate on a salary of 45K to £55k plus a car allowance of £5600 per year. There is an opportunity to earn a bonus of 10-20K. Benefits include private medical care, a company pension contribution of up to 10%, life assurance with 33 days annual holiday.
