As they continue to grow, they are looking to expand their workforce and invite applications for a Supervisor/Foreman to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supervisor/Foreman to oversee and lead their manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient production of steel structures while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. This is a key role within their production team, requiring excellent leadership skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage and coordinate daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure that all steel structures are fabricated and assembled to meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety regulations, ensuring the plant operates in full compliance with all legal and company policies.
  • Organize and allocate tasks to team members based on skills and production needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that materials are available for production runs.
  • Report on production progress, performance, and any issues to senior management.
  • Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any production or equipment issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as quality control and logistics to ensure smooth operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within a steel manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to operations.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in managing large teams or projects in a steel structure or construction-related industry.
