A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Manager to work within small audit firm in south Wales. There is potential for RI status and to complete accounts preparation and taxation duties working for a multi-site, medium south Wales practice.

The Audit Manager, will play a crucial role in overseeing all audit activities within the practice. Responsibilities will include supervising other Auditors, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Candidacy will be considered by full and part time applicants. Hybrid and flexible working is prioritised for this opportunity.
Our client is seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Manager, who has ideally gained AQ qualification and have aspirations to gain the Practicing Certificate. You will need to demonstrate prior experience managing audits end-end within an accountancy practice environment, whilst managing junior Auditors.
Audit Manager duties and responsibilities;- Implement and develop the annual audit plan.
- Execute and schedule audit engagements based on the approved 12-month audit plan.
- Perform audit work and review the output of subordinates.
- Handle special projects assigned to your team.
- Team Supervision:
- Monitor the activities of other auditors.
- Ensure objectives are met and tasks are completed on time.
- Provide guidance and support to team members.
