Involve Recruitment are in search of a Estimator for our client a construction contractor working in the education, health, leisure, commercial and industrial sectors. If you are an experienced estimator looking for a new position in a quality company this job is for you!

Job Summary:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring efficient cost control measures are in place. You will collaborate closely with project managers and clients to deliver accurate and competitive project bids.

Primary Objectives:

  • Co-ordinate the tender process in a timely fashion
  • Accurate measurement using both CAD measure & manual measures
  • Produce an accurate prime cost for the project.
  • Develop relationships with the design team and clients
  • Develop relationships, quality, and the range of the supply chain
  • Identification of areas of risk and opportunity
  • Highlight conflict and deficiencies within contract documentation
  • Produce the Estimating handover information in a suitable format for the Construction team
  • Support of Senior department staff

  • Support and promote collaborative working both internally & externally
  • Maintain current cost d

  • Obtain feedback from the construction departments on tenders
