A specialist liability adjusting practice is seeking a liability desk-adjuster/claims handler for their South Wales office.
The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of employers' liability (EL) and public liability (PL) claims across various industries, including construction and engineering.
Candidates should have experience as a Liability Claims handler/Adjuster, with a background in loss adjusting or insurance, and be adept at managing their own caseload.
The position offers a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, with benefits including free parking, a twice-yearly bonus, 30 days of holiday, a 6% pension, and Bupa health insurance.
There are opportunities for career progression, including advancement to a field adjuster role, and training will be provided for time charging if needed.

A Specialist liability adjusting practice seeks to strengthen its adjusting network through the appointment of an additional liability desk-adjuster/claims handler to work from their South Wales base.

The role will be a technical hands-on role where you handle a very varied mixed portfolio of EL and PL claims including third-party property damage risks.
You will work with a variety of clients and a wide range of industries including, Construction, Engineering and Lloyd's of London; no day will be the same.
The role will also involve charging for time, training will be provided if this is something you haven't done previously.
There are genuine opportunities to progress and develop due to future expansion of the business, there will also be the opportunity to progress to a field adjuster role should this be something you would like to pursue.

About you:

An experienced Liability Claims handler/Adjuster.
A background working for a Loss Adjusting practice in a similar role or for an Insurer within a Liability Claims team or working within the Legal field managing Liability claims.
Experienced at managing your own caseload of EL/PL losses with a hands-on approach and within a technical capacity.
Happy to work in an office environment on a hybrid basis.
Industry qualifications preferred or a desire to work towards.
