Hoop PS&HR are excited to be working with a values-driven organisation in Carmarthenshire that puts people at the heart of everything they do. They are seeking a highly experienced HR professional to join their team in a brand-new People Partner role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace.As the People Partner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing HR functions, offering expert advice and guidance on HR best practices, and providing critical support to senior leaders. You will manage key HR projects and lead initiatives aimed at promoting health, wellbeing, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) within the organisation. Due to the nature of the organisation, there is an expectation of occasional travel. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations and HR best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Oversee and lead on HR projects to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Drive health, wellbeing, and EDI initiatives in line with the organisation’s values.
  • Support senior leaders with succession planning, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Identify areas for improvement within HR processes and implement practical solutions.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to foster growth and development across teams.
  • Line manage the People Advisor, supporting their performance, development, and day-to-day tasks.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
  • Extensive experience in employee relations and HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach, with strong mentoring and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in leading and delivering successful HR projects.
  • A proactive mindset, always seeking ways to improve processes and drive positive change.
