Due to a new business opportunity, we have a requirement for Supervisor position to join our Milk Operations team based in the North Lancashire area.

In this role, you will report into the Contract Operations Manager working alongside another Supervisor on alternative days, with the responsibility for ensuring that all work is distributed whilst complying with all transport legislation, health & safety and customer service requirements. Your duties will include briefing and de-briefing with our drivers to ensure deliveries are completed in a safe manner and in accordance with company standards. You will liaise directly with our customers and stakeholders ensuring any queries are responded to in a professional manner. You will also support on collating management info and KPIs and ensure that site compliance, health, safety, and security is maintained.

To be successful in this role you have a successful background in the transport sector, with knowledge and experience of continuous improvement. You will have a good understanding of legal compliance, drivers hours and WTD's and knowledge of transport management systems & vehicle telematics. You will have a flexible approach to work demands and need to be an effective communicator with great organisational skills, being able to stay calm under pressure, thriving in a busy and fast-paced environment. Experience of milk operations is not essential for this role.
