Elevation HR are excited to be working with a leading manufacturing and construction company based in Castleford as they look to appoint a HR Advisor on a full time, permanent basis.This is a newly created role and will act as the sites standalone HR first point of contact. As a HR Advisor, you will be reporting into the Group HR Manager and supporting the HR function from managing the full employee life cycle, Employee Relations and recruitment. This is a fully generalist HR role which offers fantastic development, as a HR Advisor your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting or taking the lead on Employee Relation matters including absence management, investigations, disciplinaries and grievance matters
- Management of the recruitment process both directly and through maintaining relationships with agencies
- Processing of new starters and leavers; completing right to work checks, creating offer letters, contracts and new starter packs, and communicating these with the payroll department
- Advising supervisors and managers on employment law
- Support employee wellbeing initiatives, promoting a positive workplace culture
- Track and report on employee sickness and absence, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

The right person for this HR Advisor role will have the following attributes:
- At least 2 years' experience in a HR Advisor role or above, preferably in an Manufacturing/Logistics/Distribution/Construction environment
- Ideally you will be CIPD qualified
