We are looking for an experienced press bake operator who would be interested in a temp to perm position based in Chard.
You will be responsible to load and run the press brake machine to shape metal to exacting specifications, following precise calculations using mathematics and measuring.
You will be working: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-14:00.
Hourly between £13 - £15ph depending upon experience.
What are we looking for:
-At least 1 year experience as a press brake operator.
-Must be physically fit as you will be lifting and moving large pieces of metal/ You will also be stood up for long periods of time.
-Someone with excellent time management as you will need to complete the work within deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
-You must have a good understanding of maths as you will need to comply with the correct measurements to make the necessary shape.
-A candidate who can follow the safety regulations due to the nature of the site.
-Steel toe caps is a MUST, otherwise you will not be allowed on site.
This position will be ideal for any candidates based in and around the Chard area, that are looking for an immediate starting position.
