Duties/responsibilities:
  • Airfreight Imports operations from start to finish.
  • Co-ordinations with customers and overseas agents.
  • Door to door shipments.
  • Prepare and submit customs entries on CDS.
  • Fully compliant in all freight/shipping procedures.
  • Monitor ETA and advise of any changes.
  • Updating customers with the status of their shipments.
  • Ensuring each Customer receives all required documentation.
  • Dealing with queries and problem solving
  • Providing excellent customer services across all levels.
  • Invoicing jobs in a timely manner.
  • 90% Air Imports + 10% Road Freight
  • Assisting at busy periods on Air Exports to ensure operations run smoothly and customer is satisfied.

Skills/Requirements:
  • 1-3 years proven AIRFREIGHT IMPORT experience.
  • Freight Forwarding profile.
  • Customs Knowledge of CDS or CHIEF & Incoterms
  • PC knowledge of Outlook, windows application. Knowledge of MultiFreight would be advantage, but not necessary as training will be provided
  • Well organized, attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Customer services orientated.
  • Effective time management and working practices.
  • Team player
  • Complete and gapless work/education history
  • 5 year Enhanced referencing & DBS to follow once successful.
  • Paramount are integrity, discretion and honestly, when handling sensitive information, such in operational and financial matters.

Other:
  • Salary Band=25,000-£27,000
  • Permanent position.
  • Working schedule =Monday to Friday from 08:30am-to 17:00hrs or 09:00am-17:30hrs
