We're delighted to be working with a established leading provider of housing and social care in the appointment of Commercial Director.

As Commercial Director, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's commercial strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring effective cost control and income maximisation while overseeing critical areas such as procurement, health & safety, facilities and maintenance. Your leadership will directly contribute to the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of the organisation.

Responsibilities include:


  • Ensure the organisation is efficient and effective in the use of its resources
  • To explore and evaluate opportunities for financing new business or increasing efficiency ensuring
  • Support the production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • To monitor budgetary performance and ensure that budget holders are advised when prompt corrective or preventative action is necessary
  • To lead organisational Housing, Facilities Management, Procurement and H&S provision

Requirements:

  • Relevant sector experience with Health & Social Care or comparable service industry
  • Ability to understand and operate at a strategic management level
  • Track record of successfully delivering commercial services efficiently and effectively
  • Direct experience of staff line management
  • Knowledge of the strategic and funding issues affecting the provision of care
  • Financial modelling for care tenders and acquisitions.

Contract:

  • This is a permanent position of 37.5hrs per week
  • Basic salary of 85,000pa
  • Remote working with a mix of home based and working across the portfolio of services in the South / Southeast of England
