Portfolio Procurement have been engaged by our leading Essex based client to recruit for an Export and Trade Compliance Control officer.

This role comes with a very attractive basic salary which will be discussed at application stage.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the implementation of the Trade Compliance plans, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure correct Trade Compliance controls are identified and implemented
  • Apply and manage local export authorisations
  • Provide guidance and frequent communication on trade compliance matters
  • Identify training needs related to Export Compliance

Key Skills and Experience:

  • In depth knowledge of UK and US export Laws and Regulations
  • Experience with managing teams
  • Experience in implementation of Trade Compliance programmes
  • Knowledge of industry best practice
  • Proven direct experience with International Trade regulations experience
  • Experience within a High Technology, Defence or Aerospace Environment
  • Proven Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations and global sanctions framework
