Commercial Account ExecutiveSalary: Crica £40,000 (dependent on experience, plus bonus potential)Working Hours: 35 hours per weekContract: PermanentOur client is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join their Cheltenham office. The successful candidate will focus on existing insurance business to deliver exceptional client service acting as part of the Commercial Sales Team, supporting their "right first time" approach to customer service.A rapidly expanding and innovative company, this presents a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and become an integral part of an inclusive, purpose-led organisation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, service, and grow a portfolio of existing commercial clients.
  • Develop, negotiate, and profitably sell business within your authority, in line with company strategy.
  • Prioritise and manage individual tasks to meet SLAs and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Maintain effective communication to support the "right first time" approach, fostering strong internal and external relationships.
  • Operate within the regulatory framework, identifying and escalating potential risks.
  • Contribute to business growth through new business and renewals.
  • Represent the company at networking events when required.
  • Achieve agreed targets.
  • Undertake any additional duties as needed.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Experience in property insurance is essential.
  • Professional and confident communication skills
  • Good understanding of Commercial Insurance, including but not limited to, Commercial Combined, Commercial Property Owners, SME, Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers.
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients, agents, insurers etc.
  • Ability to construct effective written communications.
  • Able to perform well under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Cert CII qualified or commitment to obtaining it within an agreed timeframe.
  • Knowledge of the market, industry, and company.
