Due to continued growth, our client, who are a well-established family business and leaders in their sector, have a new exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Sourcer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis in Cheltenham.

The role is a multi-faceted position involving identifying, researching, and acquiring new locations to expand the business, working closely with the owners to assess potential sites, manage negotiations, and drive the full acquisition process from research to completion. The ideal candidate will be skilled and proactive, be able to build effective working relationships and have a positive can-do attitude.

To apply for this position you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle. Although predominantly office-based you will be required to travel to locations across the UK.

Responsibilities:

-Regular researching of places and properties to identify strategic growth opportunities.

-Actively target and source potential locations through direct outreach, networking and marketing.

-Visit target locations to evaluate potential sites and to understand the market.

-Conduct site appraisals and produce detailed reports with recommendations for acquisition.

-Prepare proposals for acquisition and manage the offer and negotiation process.

-Assist with the coordination of external departments and ensure smooth project execution.

-Provide administrative support for bids, legal, and planning matters, liaising with external consultants (e.g., solicitors, planners, architects).

Candidate Attributes:

-Ideally degree educated or experienced in a similar position.

-Experience within the commercial property industry an advantage.

-Strong communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

-Confident in negotiating and managing external relationships.

-Able to work independently.

-Competent in Microsoft Office.

Hours - Full time with hybrid working (2/3-day split)

Salary - up to £45,000 depending on experience
