Our Client, a leading HR specialist are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to provide administrative support to small to medium sized employers within a variety of sectors.

Full time or Part time hours will also be considered for the right person.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in HR Administration who is looking for an opportunity to develop their career.

The successful candidate will be required to:-

  • After initial training, act as a first point of contact for client HR queries.
  • Provide proactive HR administration support to clients and HR Consultants.
  • Follow Company and Client agreed processes.
  • Produce template offer letters, contracts of employment, and other necessary HR templates.
  • Keep internal and client HR Databases up to date with leaver/joiner/absence information.
  • Control all incoming data, ensuing client files are kept up to date.
  • Request references and other checks for new starters as required by clients.
  • Process monthly payroll for designated clients, exhibiting a high degree of accuracy and the ability to understand and adapt to multiple processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for pension and benefit providers.
  • Assist with contract and handbook review.
  • Keep in touch with clients.
  • Take ownership of regular personnel file audits for your clients.
  • Work proactively at all times, speaking to HR Advisors about any potential work we could offer to the client in addition.
  • Assist with ad hoc HR/Employment Law project work.

The ideal candidate will have:-

  • Experience within a HR administration role.
  • CIPD level 3 (desirable not essential.)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good administration skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence with own vehicle (essential). The role will be predominately home or office based but will involve occasional travel to client’s sites.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
