Supply Chain Manager

Sub-contract Specialist | Salary up to £55,000 | plus benefits | hybrid working to Cheltenham office

Overview:

We are working with a fantastic multi-national business specialising in the defence sector. They are fast-growing and looking for a Sub-Contract Specialist to join their team! With focus on Supply chain, this role will be integral to supplier selection and supplier management for various projects.

What the role involves:

• Responsible for meeting programme schedule and budget allocation
• Will be leading on Procuring Subcontracting professional and technical services
• Ensure all suppliers adhere and align to the Supplier Management Processes
• On-going supplier management, reporting back on data and successful delivery into Project
• Supplier Relationship and Performance Management

The person we hope to find:

• Strong sub-contracting procurement and supplier management
• Security Clearance will be needed for this role. If you don't currently have it, you must be able to gain and maintain the UK Government security clearance
• Experiences developed with government and defence would be hugely beneficial to this role
• Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and stakeholders
• Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritise quickly
• Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage work with minimal supervision
• Commercially aware and financially astute
