Before and After School Club Manager

An opportunity to work in a long standing out of school care service in Leckhampton, Gloucestershire.

The role will be to oversee the day to day operation of the service which is open for before school care 07:30am to 9am Monday through Friday and after school care 2:30pm to 6pm Monday through Friday.

You will be in charge of the administration such as recruitment and working closely with HR to ensure all new hires have contracts as well as work with payroll. You will oversee the rota and ensuring we keep to the adult to child ratio at all times, ensuring all staff are set up for online training.

Supervising and assisting the team in working on activities, including planning, as well as maintaining cleanliness. You will be responsible for ensuring we meet all OFSTED criteria and will prepare for visits. You will ensure the club is in compliance at all times.

You will bring your leadership experience to build, encourage and motivate your team, assisting them with professional development and to continually form positive relationships with the host school, families and children.

The successful applicant will have previous experience as manager, ideally within the wrap around care sector or early years.

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to provide a safe, caring and engaging programme for school aged children.

You will either have a First Aid certificate or willing to obtain, along with a clear DBS or ideally on the update service.
