Our client is an established high-end UK manufacturer and contractor within the curtain walling and architectural glazing sector, and they are recruiting for a Document Controller to work within a very experienced team.

Location: Hybrid role, working out of their Chessington office 2-days a weekPackage: £30k basic + annual company bonus and 22 days holiday

The Role - Document Controller:

  • This can be hybrid remote working role, work from home and their Chessington office at least 2-days per week
  • You will accurately record all works being undertaken
  • Carrying out daily checks of Field View for all live projects, to ensure dashboards are maintained and the data is being uploaded by site teams and subcontractors
  • You will set up projects on the system to ensure all are working from a consistent design and reporting on progress
  • Carry out digital and physical filing, record keeping, updating and coordination of project documentation in line with key project milestone dates
  • Support Quality Manager in auditing of documentation process and ensure consistency across business data files
  • Ensuring the business has immediate access to all supporting data that demonstrates the works we deliver are compliant and free of workmanship issues

The Successful Applicant - Document Controller:

  • You are most likely to be already working as a Document Controller, or have transferable skills from a similar role within the construction industry
  • You will have Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with all levels of personnel / stakeholders
