Compass Associates is a leading UK Health and Social Care Recruitment Consultancy. We are partnering with a prestigious retirement living provider who have been established for over 40 years and operate in 19 locations across the UK.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our new flagship retirement village in Chester. You will create a vibrant community where residents can age well, form friendships, and enjoy an exceptional living experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational plans for the village, aligning with our strategic goals.
  • Drive excellence in hospitality and customer experience, fostering strong relationships with residents and the community.
  • Manage P&L accounts, budgets, and revenue streams to ensure financial health.
  • Oversee property management and ensure a safe, compliant environment for residents.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of general management experience in a similar setting.
  • Strong operational and financial acumen.

  • A retirement village background would be preferable, but happy to consider candidates with a hospital background or hotel management, especially within luxury, 5* hotels
