Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, Deeside based, Manufacturing organisation as they seek to recruit an Assistant Commercial Accountant to join their head office finance function.

This opportunity is ideal for someone commercially minded and data savvy, familiar with reporting on large sets of business data and reporting on costs and efficiencies. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, closely supporting both the Sales and Operational Teams.

Salary

  • Up to £35,000pa

Job Duties:

  • Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, delivering clear insights into business performance.
  • Production reporting including various variance analysis
  • Product costing and stock reporting
  • Providing insightful commentary on financial performance.
  • Partnering with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and profitability improvements.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as needed.
  • Financial analysis of Departmental spend
  • Month End Reporting

Required Experience / Attributes

  • A strong commercial mindset and the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.
  • Strong Excel skills, and ideally experience of working with large datasets
  • Ambition and drive to grow with the business, taking on increased responsibility over time.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
