Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for overseeing the daily finance operations, supervising a small team and managing a number of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the finance team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Take full control of financial accounts, including preparation through to audit.
  • Presenting to board on a monthly basis
  • Oversee project cost management, ensuring accurate tracking and financial reporting on all projects.
  • Overseeing the monthly management accounts, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Implement strong financial controls to safeguard the business and ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with Commercial Directors to provide clear financial insights, helping to drive profitability.
  • Act as the key contact for external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate audit completion.
  • Support senior leadership with strategic financial analysis to guide business decisions.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a fast-paced, high growth and multi-site environment.
  • Hands on Management and Financial Accounts experience with a firm understanding of financial reporting and audits.
  • Experience in leading a finance team, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously and influence key stakeholders.
