I am actively recruiting a Civil Engineer to join a successful Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Chester. My client specialises in residential, education, commercial, and visitor destination projects, they are committed to designing with nature to create sustainable, holistic solutions. They are looking for Drainage Engineer to join their dynamic, growing team. With part-time and full-time roles available, you'll be working in a creative, collaborative environment, surrounded by professionals who are passionate about their craft.

- You have hands-on experience in civil engineering, particularly with small to medium-sized projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing technical design information in areas such as cut and fill, highways design, and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) for planning submission and full detailed design, from feasibility to construction.
- Engaging with strategic partners, including the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, Water Authorities, SAB, Lead Local Flood Authorities, and Local Highways Authorities.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams, clients, and technical specialists.
- Supporting the growth of the engineering team and providing training to junior members.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proficiency in Causeway Flow and AutoCAD design software is essential. Experience with PDS, Live Design, or Site 3D is a plus.
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation and procedures.
- A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of practical experience, ideally working towards a professional qualification.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
