Our client, a leading Investment Bank, is seeking a talented FP&A Analyst to join their dynamic team for a 12-month temporary contract. This role offers an attractive daily rate of £400 to £450, and you'll be working in the Chester office - Hybrid - 3 days in the office & 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities:You will play a vital role in several key areas:
Performance Analysis and Senior Management Support:
- Lead the preparation of the Monthly Operating Report (MOR) covering P&L, revenue, and expense commentary.
- Prepare financial information for EMEA legal entity Board of Director meetings.
- Collaborate with business and finance teams to provide insightful financial analysis.
- Partner with the India FP&A team for timely and accurate reporting delivery.
Regional and Legal Entity Planning and Forecasting:
- Prepare and analyse financial forecasts based on business management input.
- Support regional businesses during the forecasting and budgeting cycles.
- Conduct analysis for key local legal entities.
Oversight and Control:
- Review month-end P&L to ensure accurate expense allocations.
- Oversee the accrual and Line of Business (LOB) allocation process for EMEA Global Markets.
- Estimate and analyse drivers for EMEA Global Markets taxes and regulatory levies.
Projects and Ad-hoc Analysis:
- Conduct detailed analysis on various EMEA Global Markets expense items.
- Support the business in identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Continuously review reporting processes for efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting for senior management.
Essential Skills:
- Strong accounting background with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent numerical, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in financial reporting and modelling, with experience in building controlled spreadsheets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills to communicate key messages clearly and effectively.
