Description:

  • Relevant HR qualification (CIPD)
  • Demonstrable experience in people partnership with business managers and leaders
  • Be a proactive champion for change and organisational development
  • Equipped with excellent professional HR skills to handle a full suite of HR challenges; including ER cases, disciplinary and grievance, investigatory matters, also in a professionally sensitive manner.
  • Experience of successfully working in and delivering people focused service at a partner-approach HR level
  • Experience in effectively managing a range of tasks and priorities, simultaneously
  • A role model of excellent people-practice, leadership, coaching and motivational skills with a willingness to be hands-on as required in supporting the drive of HR behaviours.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, matrixed, dynamic environment, preferably with operations industry experience and gained in multi-location business with multiple stakeholders, which you have taken through a trans formative journey demonstrating experience of leading on significant change projects.
  • Experience of HR risk profiling and ability to make judgement call on complex HR
  • Discreet when dealing with confidential information and acting in good faith with respect to all involved parties
  • Ability to travel as required, including willingness to attend industry events

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior HR leaders to implement people plans and practices in designated business areas or territories.
  • Partner with senior functional leaders to support their teams delivery of functional people plans.
  • Handle advisory people issues and manage complex ER cases, escalating when necessary.
  • Work with managers to ensure understanding and compliance with People policies and procedures, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
  • Advise on employee relations cases, such as monitoring absence, capability, performance, disciplinary actions, and grievances, assessing ongoing issues.
  • Ensure accuracy of employee records and HR Information Systems, providing accurate Management Information (MI).
  • Prepare timely MI reports on key aspects of people data.
  • Provide project management support for people work streams across departmental projects, ensuring legal compliance and consistency.
  • Attend inter-departmental meetings to promote collaboration, consistency, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead special projects to drive positive change within the business.
  • Define and support processes for local initiatives.
  • Drive talent planning consistency in collaboration with managers and HR, aligning with global HR processes.
  • Coach managers to improve performance within functional business units.
  • Share best practices for continuous improvement and receive feedback from the HR team.
  • Diagnose and address underlying issues to improve performance.
  • Review key metrics and management information for functional areas.
  • Focus on Talent, Performance, and Engagement to maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Design and deliver high-impact solutions, embedding ethical high-performance values.
  • Understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Model cross-functional collaboration and thinking.
  • Provide meaningful information, data, and recommendations to stakeholders, reviewing progress and performance monthly.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and apply best practices for improvement.
  • Operate effectively in a complex environment with a matrix support structure.
