Interim Communications Lead - Near Chester (via Inventum Group)

6-month contract (Inside IR35)

30-40 per hour

Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site, with regular travel to Belfast

Inventum Group is representing a leading organisation in their search for an Interim Communications Lead to support a major acquisition. This is a pivotal role for an experienced communications professional who can shape and execute a communications strategy during a significant transition period.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement a communications plan to support the M&A process and onboard the new company into the wider organisation
  • Align local communications needs with broader UK strategy
  • Define and deliver key messaging and communications materials during the transition phase
  • Engage with internal teams, public affairs, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging

About You:

  • Proven experience in communications (internal, external, and community relations)
  • Background in M&A, transformation, and change communications
  • Strong understanding of company structures, products, and business environments in the UK
  • Ability to engage with UK media and local communities effectively
  • Excellent writing, content creation, and event management skills
