Interim Communications Lead - Near Chester (via Inventum Group)
6-month contract (Inside IR35)
30-40 per hour
Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site, with regular travel to Belfast
Inventum Group is representing a leading organisation in their search for an Interim Communications Lead to support a major acquisition. This is a pivotal role for an experienced communications professional who can shape and execute a communications strategy during a significant transition period.
The Role:
- Develop and implement a communications plan to support the M&A process and onboard the new company into the wider organisation
- Align local communications needs with broader UK strategy
- Define and deliver key messaging and communications materials during the transition phase
- Engage with internal teams, public affairs, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging
About You:
- Proven experience in communications (internal, external, and community relations)
- Background in M&A, transformation, and change communications
- Strong understanding of company structures, products, and business environments in the UK
- Ability to engage with UK media and local communities effectively
- Excellent writing, content creation, and event management skills
