Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine histopathology laboratory tasks, focusing on the microtomy sectioning of various tissue types (standard, mega, singles, levels, and cores).
  • Conduct routine H&E staining utilizing the Leica Spectra system.
  • Ensure high standards of quality control and adherence to laboratory protocols.
  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely delivery of results.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Histology/Cellular Pathology.
  • Proven experience in histopathology techniques, particularly microtomy and H&E staining.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
