Spray Technician - Crops
Do you have experience with crop spraying? Have you driven and maintained tractors or heavy plant? If you're looking for an opportunity to work with a reputable grower of fresh produce with plenty of opportunity to progress, please apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day spray operations; pesticide application, maintaining equipment and accurately recording data.
The Package:
- Salary to 33k
- Private Healthcare
- Life Assurance (4 x annual salary)
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
- Eligibility to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday per year
The Role:
- Prepare, calibrate and operate spraying equipment
- Ensure that accurate entries are maintained for spraying records
- Carry out general maintenance of machinery and spray equipment
- Maintain spray filling area in accordance with health and safety and risk assessments
You:
- Have a basic understanding of pesticides and how to optimise application
- Hold a recognised qualification (PA1, PA6, etc.)
- Previous experience spraying and tractor driving - desirable
