Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting a Management Accountant role on a permanent basis with an organisation based in Chippenham.
The role
The Management Accountant role would suit a finalist/newly qualified accountant seeking progression long term. This role will be working closely with the Head of Finance in producing and overseeing the management accounts function and will gain insight into budgeting and forecasting. If you are looking for a role where you can be mentored and developed then please read on. The Management Accountant will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to:
- Preparing monthly management accounts including journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Financial analysis.
- VAT Returns.
- Maintaining and managing the fixed asset registers, ensuring assets are correctly recorded and depreciated.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the head of finance with budgeting and forecasting.
Profile
- Finalist or newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with 2+ years experience in management accounting.
- Intermediate excel (vlookups and pivot tables).
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable with partnering with internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience within manufacturing or retail would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
Package
- £45,000 - £55,000.
- Free onsite parking.
- Hybrid working agreement once probation has been passed (up to 2 days from home).
- 25 days leave plus bank holidays.
