Salary: Starting from £32,000 per annum

Are you ready for a new culinary adventure? Roots + Seeds Café Kitchen, located in the beautiful Cirencester Park on the Bathurst Estate, is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team.

As a key member of our small, family-oriented kitchen, the ideal candidate will bring a minimum of one years experience as a Sous Chef. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every dish is of the highest quality. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef looking to progress and develop their career within a supportive and dynamic team.

About Roots + Seeds Café Kitchen
Roots + Seeds is a steadily growing business with the flagship location in Cirencester, boasting 80 covers inside and 80 outside. We have built a reputation for providing exceptional breakfast and lunch offerings, and our Sunday roasts are considered some of the best in the area. Our in-house baked goods are highly praised, and we are proud to support the restaurant with our own kitchen garden, which supplies fresh, seasonal ingredients. We are also excited to be opening a second location, continuing to grow our family of food lovers!

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1 years experience as a Sous Chef
  • A genuine passion for food and the ability to deliver exceptional dishes
  • Food Hygiene Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 certifications
  • In-depth knowledge of food and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to support and guide the kitchen team
  • Own transport and accommodation are essential
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Must have UK residence
