We are excited to announce that we are partnering with a really exciting business to recruit for a Business Administrator temporary role for the Christmas period. This role has become available due to some exciting changes with the business, they have just acquired another business and are needing support with setting up this new businesses details within this companies systems. This will include a lot of data entry, investigation, liaison with other departments and customer service.

This role is a temporary position until at least the end of January 2025, it is hybrid working with it being 2-3 days in the office each week.

Ideally for this role we are needing someone who has 6-12 months experience in an administration role or some kind of office environment working on data entry tasks and using excel. However, if you think you are someone who is fast learner, has a relevant qualification (such as a Business qualification) and are eager to give something new a go then please still apply.

This role will be paying roughly 15.25 (including holiday) and ideally needing people who can start quite quickly, so please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period (one week maximum).

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete detailed checks on data, ensuring all verification and approvals have been completed.
  • Extracting data from the previous company system and exporting it.
  • Importing the data into the new system, ensuring that the data matches the old system by completing regular checks.
  • Challenge data where appropriate, ensuring that anything that looks wrong is investigated.
  • Liaising with supplier, subcontracts and other third parties to collect any missing data.
  • Work in an accurate and efficient manner to streamline this process.
  • Perform process controls to ensure all data entry tasks are completed within deadlines.
  • Using excel to assist with exporting and importing data, so ideally needing to be confident on excel.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider business.
  • Provide business as usual support as necessary for sickness and holiday.
