The Sales Manager will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities, maintaining and growing customer relationships, and providing technical support while part of a new endeavour to disrupt the concrete market. The role involves monitoring competitor activity, pricing tenders, handling customer inquiries, and staying updated on new products and market trends.

Description

路 Provide customers with technical help or information when required

路 To carry out duties in a pro-active and professional manner.

路 To build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

路 Provide customer with a single point of contact for any questions/queries

路 To monitor and be familiar with competitor activity and new products.

路 To keep Sales Director informed of all competitor activity and projects as well as provide information regarding area pricing trends.

路 To liaise with internal sales staff.

路 Price enquiries in line with company policy and current market trends.

路 Price tenders as directed from Sales Director.

路 Monitor deliveries on a daily basis

路 Deal with Customer Complaints/Invoice queries

路 Ensure product knowledge is kept up to date within an ever-changing environment of new admixtures, cements and cement replacements.

路 Promote new plants/products as they become available.

路 Entertain customers in line with company policy & where appropriate.

路 Inform credit control of any information pertinent to customer's credit activity.

路 Liaise with Distribution, production and transport regarding large pours, out of hours working etc

路 Carry out ongoing "area sweeps" to identify work that we have previously been unaware of.

Profile

Key Requirements

路 Excellent written and oral communication skills.

路 Good negotiating skills.

路 Excellent Time Management skills.

路 To be able to discuss and resolve technical details / problems.

路 Good product knowledge.

路 Computer literacy.

路 To be well presented at all times

路 Driving licence/ability to travel to company/customer sites as and when required

路 Competitor and Market Awareness.
