Corporate Tax Senior - CTA Qualified - Leatherhead, Surrey - Competitive Salary + Benefits

We're looking for a Qualified Tax Senior, either recently qualified or an established Tax Senior, to join a well established organisation in their Leatherhead office.

Joining the Business and Corporate Tax team, the Tax Senior will have initial responsibility for overseeing a portfolio of business tax related compliance functions, which includes a diverse mix of owner managed companies as well as large and international groups operating across a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities as the Corporate Tax Senior will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing UK corporate tax computations
  • Monitoring reporting and payment deadlines
  • Working closely with audit and accounts team to advise on tax accounting entries and disclosures
  • Providing corporation tax compliance proposals and quotes
  • Monitoring and managing financial performance
  • Managing client and HMRC correspondence
  • Training and mentoring colleagues as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • CTA qualification or equivalent
  • Corporate tax technical and practical knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience working in a Tax Accountant / Tax Manager or Tax Senior role
  • Good knowledge of tax issues affecting OMB’s and their shareholders
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards
  • Competency in interpreting accounts and other financial information
  • Knowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to liaise confidently with clients
  • IT literate with strong MS Office and database skills
  • Alphatax is desirable
  • Strong desire to provide a high level of service to clients
