SALARY: £40 - 45k per annum
REPORTING TO: Head of Event Operations
Our client based in Leatherhead organises corporate events in the UK on behalf of international clients from over 50 countries around the world. The company works with many Blue Chip brands and most of its clients are internationally based. They are the UK partner of many of the world’s leading event agencies in more than 50 countries. They are seeking a Project Manager to be part of a team responding to client briefs, preparing proposals and the delivery of events. The role carries significant opportunities for career advancement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling client requests and preparing client proposals
- Manage and affect the research, availability and prices at hotels, restaurants and event venues
- Support marketing and product development activities
- Assist with ensuring that briefs are responded to in a timely and effective fashion
- Assisting in maximising conversion rates and margins
- Account management with regular agency partners and clients
- Managing suppliers, contracts and Service Level Agreements
- Responsibility for the smooth and effective running of multiple projects
- Preparation and maintenance of Working Documents
- Represent company policy and requirements
- Deal with delegate, client and consumer queries and requirements
- Assist with office administration including maintaining client and supplier databases, supplier payments and credit control
- On-site co-ordination of events and management of suppliers and staff at event
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Training will be given.
This role requires previous experience - ideally in a similar role
Experience of the travel or event industries would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates should be computer literate (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
