Despite the changes, the day-to-day operations will remain consistent, making it an opportune time to join the business as they evolve. To support this growth, a new role has been created within the finance team. Your new roleReporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will oversee the daily operations of the accounts department and assist in reporting financial statistics to both the Board of Directors and the wider group.Typical duties include:
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts to tight deadlines
- Bank reconciliations
- Control Account reconciliations
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Reporting of monthly performance to the Group Reporting Team
- Preparation of annual budgets and assistance with forecasting as required by Group Controlling Team
- Investigation and solution of discrepancies
- Other ad hoc duties as required as this role evolves
This role will suit an AAT qualified as a min or qualified by experience Accountant, first time movers from Accountancy practice are highly desirable due to the nature of the business.
