Accounts Assistant

Location: Colchester, Essex

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our team in Colchester. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Day-to-day of the role:

Posting credit card transactions and processing purchase invoices.

Generating subcontractor statements and handling monthly CIS returns.

Creating sales invoices and conducting daily bank reconciliations.

Collaborating with the team and adapting to a variety of accounting tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

AAT Level 4 qualification or higher.

Experience in a similar role, with construction industry experience being advantageous.

Knowledge of CIS would be beneficial.

Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to take on additional duties.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
