Hays are working with a local charity to recruit an experienced interim Payroll Specialist. The successful candidate would play a crucial part in the implementation and streamlining process for a new payroll system on a 3-month contract. (potential permanent opportunities)Main duties:
- Asses the integrated system to understand key features, compliance requirements and troubleshoot common issues
- Assist with parallel Payroll project to make sure data is transferred accurately
- Monitoring new Payroll system and reporting back issues and creating adjustment for streamlining purposes
- Process monthly payroll for 200 staff, ensuring all related activities are completed accurately and timely
- Keeping a detailed record for casual and flexible payrolls, calculating and allocating discrepancies
- Addressing and assisting any payroll related queries bridging the gap between HR and financial processing
The successful candidate will be:
- Specialist level and understanding of Payroll, history of working within a Payroll department
- Experience leading and managing a system integration project
- Excellent with communication to liaise across departments and provide insight
- HR and charitable experience is desirable but not essential
