MacKenzie King are supporting a well established charity on the outskirts of Colchester to recruit a Part Time Payroll Officer for a 3 month period. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Part Time Payroll Officer to play an integral role within the organisation, helping to implement a new, efficient Payroll system.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Accurate processing of the monthly payroll 
  • Preparation of monthly payroll reports
  • Processing payments to all employees
  • Working closely with the HR and Accounts teams, answering any internal payroll queries
  • Helping with the implementation of a new Payroll/HR system
  • Ensuring adherence to National Minimum Wage and pension auto-enrolment requirements
  • Providing an accurate, efficient and professional payroll service to the organisation

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • UK Payroll experience is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good understanding of payroll practices and legislation
  • Experience using Payroll/HR Software
  • Taking ownership of own workload
  • Ability to manage conflicting deadlines
