MacKenzie King are supporting a well established charity on the outskirts of Colchester to recruit a Part Time Payroll Officer for a 3 month period. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Part Time Payroll Officer to play an integral role within the organisation, helping to implement a new, efficient Payroll system.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Accurate processing of the monthly payrollÂ
- Preparation of monthly payroll reports
- Processing payments to all employees
- Working closely with the HR and Accounts teams, answering any internal payroll queries
- Helping with the implementation of a new Payroll/HR system
- Ensuring adherence to National Minimum Wage and pension auto-enrolment requirements
- Providing an accurate, efficient and professional payroll service to the organisation
Key Skills & Attributes:
- UK Payroll experience is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of payroll practices and legislation
- Experience using Payroll/HR Software
- Taking ownership of own workload
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines
