Description
- Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
- Coordinate and direct budgeting, procurement and financial planning
- Develop strategies to maximise ROI and meet the company's financial objectives
- Coordinate auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organisational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities
- Analyse the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed
- Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
Profile
A successful 'Senior Management Accountant' should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Management Accountant, Accounting Supervisor or similar role
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software
- Excellent organisation and leadership skills
