Role Overview:The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the full end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to consumers. This role does not involve direct responsibility for production planning but requires close collaboration with production teams and other key departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations. You will play a key role in driving cost reductions, improving service levels, and ensuring product availability in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and transportation, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to improve costs, quality, and lead times.
  • Logistics and Distribution Optimization: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and internal teams to optimize warehousing and distribution processes, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Inventory Control and Demand Planning: Work closely with the demand planning team to forecast product needs, align inventory levels with demand, and ensure supply meets customer needs without overstocking.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Regularly analyze and report on supply chain performance, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implementing strategies to address them.
  • Cost Management: Identify opportunities to reduce costs across the supply chain through process improvements, supplier negotiations, and efficient transportation and logistics strategies.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify supply chain risks and work to mitigate them, including addressing potential supply disruptions or logistical challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, and finance to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding inventory levels, product availability, and lead times.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within an FMCG or fast-paced consumer goods environment.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Experience in supplier relationship management and negotiation.

  • Proficient in supply chain software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools (SAP, Excel, etc.).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an FMCG or similar industry with large-scale supply chain operations.

  • Certifications in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, ISM, etc.) are a plus.
