Brook Street Ltd are pleased to announce a readily available admin position within MOD - in Corsham. The role is based on a full-time, hybrid, temporary assignment, Monday-Friday at an hourly rate of £12.99

Are you an organized and proactive individual? We are recruiting a Personal Assistant for a temporary assignment to support a busy manager. This is your chance to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment!

The Temporary Worker will provide executive administrative support to a Deputy Director. They will be required to administer the email, calendar and travel arrangements for the Deputy Director to support them in carrying out their duties. There will be a blend of devising their own ways of working and following set procedures and will need to exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions and their duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary management - including prioritising meetings and arranging cover where required
  • Email management - including responding on behalf of the Deputy Director, channelling queries to the leadership team or flagging items for attention.
  • Travel booking - undertaking all required travel bookings to support the Deputy Director diary commitments, with bookings made via the most cost-effective way for the Civil Service.
  • Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
    Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external stakeholders
  • Managing and checking inboxes, flagging and escalating issues as needed
  • Collaborating closely with the Chief of Staff to support the Deputy Director

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Experience in administrative support or similar roles
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge

Desirable: This role requires a Security Clearance (SC). If you already possess one that is transferable, it will enhance your application.

Pay Rate: £12.99/ hr + additional 50p allowance for each worked hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37hrs per week, hybrid role 2-3 days/week from home - flexible on the schedule

Duration: end of assignment: 25/10/2025, extension possibility based on your performance
